Emma Sauer | International School of Oradea

My name is Emma and I come from New Zealand. Over the past 20 years I have visited many countries and have lived in England, Australia, Turkey and most recently Romania. My first degree was a BA in Psychology with Honours, from James Cook University in Australia. All of my family are or were teachers and I seemed to follow the same path. I quickly fell in love with teaching and went on to pursue further study in Education through Nottingham and Sunderland Universities. I have been teaching internationally for nine years now. I taught in Istanbul for four years and have been teaching in Bucharest for the past five. My teaching career has given me experience working with both EYFS and Primary. Literacy is my favourite subject and I aim to encourage a lifetime love of reading. I am looking forward to joining the ISO team and continuing my exploration of Romania.
