Mr Thomas Sease | International School of Oradea

My name is Thomas. I grew up in a rural part of America, on my family farm. Farming wasn’t our main activity; more of a hobby. Due to living in such a rural environment, I developed a strong desire to travel and explore other cultures and see more of the world. I have visited many countries and I lived in Istanbul for 2 years. While in Istanbul, I began my teaching career. I taught conversational and business English to adults and also worked as a senior camp counsellor at an English emersion summer camp. The children were aged between 4 and 12 years of age. I found that sports and games were a great way to connect students, regardless of English level. I first visited Romania in 2012 and have been back many times since then. I love history and Romania has a very rich and deep past to absorb. I am excited to join the ISO family and continue my exploration of Romania.

I believe education and horticulture are similar; you plant a seed, nurture it and watch it grow.
