My name is Rhianna Knikker-troke and I am excited to be joining ISO as the Year 5 teacher. I grew up in Sheffield in the North of England and completed my bachelors degree at the University of Nottingham and my PGCE at the University of Durham. Prior to ISO I was a Grade 2-3 teacher in Vilnius, Lithuania and an Art teacher in Cluj. My goal is to foster curiosity, creativity, and confidence in my students and I hope to inspire in them a fascination for the world and joy of learning which I feel within myself. 

I am very creative and love the outdoors and nature. I also love to travel and I try to bring a multicultural element to my classroom through projects, histories, art or experiments.

Above all I care very much about my students and I wish to make them feel comfortable with their abilities, proud of their achievements, and eager to grow both academically and emotionally.”
