Hello everyone!

I’m Iulia, and this year I will be teaching Year 4 at ISO. I was born in Romania and have a Bachelor’s degree in Turkish and English Language, as well as a Master’s degree in English Translation. I’ve been working in education for over ten years, teaching and supporting children of different ages and backgrounds.

For me, one of the most important parts of teaching is building a genuine connection with my students. I believe children learn best when they feel happy, comfortable and valued in the classroom. I enjoy getting to know each child’s personality, interests and strengths and creating an environment where they feel confident to ask questions, make mistakes and keep growing.

I like my classroom to be a place filled with curiosity, kindness, respect and, of course, plenty of fun! I’m always learning too, and I love finding new ways to make lessons engaging and meaningful while helping every child feel successful in their own way.

Outside school, I love travelling, discovering new places and cultures, and spending time with my family. These experiences have shaped who I am as both a person and a teacher and have helped me bring an open-minded and global perspective into my classroom.
