International School of Oradea is co-founded by Lumina SA, Lumina Foundation – International School of Bucharest and the Municipality of Oradea. There are 2 lines of education at ISO. In the International, lineISO follows courses based upon the National Curriculum of England. English is the language of instruction. In the Romanian line ISO follows the National Curriculum of Romania with an intensive English programme and the main language of instruction is Romanian.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic admissions officer to become part of a dedicated team of professionals starting from April 2022.

SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF JOB

Responsible for, admissions and retention of the parents at ISO.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the complete registration process for lead enquiry to long term effective parent retention;
  • Monthly reporting of all admissions (international and local) to the executive director;
  • Ensuring the ISO Admissions Policy is followed;
  • Frequent reviews of the admissions process putting forward recommendations to the Executive Director for improvements;
  • To deliver high quality material to admissions and ongoing engagement – for example visitor packs and gazettes.

PARENT ENGAGEMENT AND RETENTION

  • To develop and execute a calendar of events with key areas for parents to build trust and open engagement with parents of the school;
  • Support the ongoing engagement of parents in the school and follow up any issues raised to a satisfactory conclusion in a timely manner;
  • Ensure that the retention operating procedure is followed with all parents to deliver a positive experience for those leaving the school.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Attend events to recruit new parents to the school;
  • Attend key partner meetings and events to support the development of longer term delivery of admissions;
  • Fulfill tasks that may be required from time to time by the Executive Director keeping with the duties described above;
  • To organize or assist in whole school initiatives and contribute to the growth of the school;
  • Observe the confidentiality of information at all times;
  • To coordinate the extracurricular activities programme;
  • Ensure that statutory responsibilities and school policies are met with regard to health and safety, equal opportunities and other relevant legislation, policies and procedures;
  • To promote and adhere to the school’s vision and values.
