Esteemed parents, and dear students,
My name is Maria-Elena Cărăban, and I teach Chemistry at the International School of Oradea.
I have been passionate about Chemistry since childhood and pursued my Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry at the University of Oradea, followed by a Master’s degree in Structural and Applied Chemistry at the same university. My aspiration has always been to teach my students Chemistry as an engaging and captivating subject—one that helps them understand the presence and applicability of this science in everyday life.
At the same time, my openness to new experiences, curiosity, and commitment to personal growth led me to study Psychology as well. I completed a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology, School and Vocational Counseling, at the University of Oradea, with the intention of being by my students’ side not only professionally—guiding them in discovering Chemistry as “the science of life”—but also personally, supporting them in becoming future adults with strong values and essential life skills.
I am confident that together we will transform the learning process into an experience full of curiosity, engagement, and discovery.
