Born in Newcastle, England, Michael has a background in international education spanning 15 years, teaching at schools across the UK, Europe and Asia.
He has lived and worked in Romania since 2018 and holds a Master’s degree in Creative Writing and a PGCE with the University of Sunderland.

Michael has a proven track record in leading students to high levels of individual success, most notably in the iGCSE English examinations. He is looking forward to guiding ISO’s middle school and high school students through similar educational journeys.

Michael’s teaching methods involve encouraging human imagination and building autonomy and trust among students; allowing them to explore their potential through honesty, open discussion and self-reflection in the creative pursuit of knowledge.
